China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co. Ltd. (SHSE: 601601) showed that its subsidiary Pacific Investment Management sponsored the establishment of “Pacific-Taizhou Yangtze River Bridge equity investment plan”, with a total investment of CNY 3 billion.

The investment plan, which was recorded by the China Insurance Regulatory Commission last December 27, has won nearly CNY 4 billion subscription intent from the parent company and external institutions. Finally, the sales to external institutions hit CNY 2.2 billion, and the sales within China Pacific Insurance hit CNY 800 million. This shows that the proportion of sales to external institutions hit up to 73.33%, the largest among all equity plans established by the company. By far, Pacific Investment Management has sponsored eight equity investmnet plans, making up 30% of the total in the industry.

The Taizhou bridge, located between Taizhou City and Zhenjiang and Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, is an important channel project in the province.
